Adults of all Paronix species are very similar and determination requires genital dissection or rearing of larvae.

Leaf-mine: June-July, August-October
Very similar mine to next species.

(Larva grey with black rings on legs.)

Verification Grade Comment: Vacated spinnings unidentifiable. Examination of larval morphology required.
